onto todayā€™s topic: complacent being unhealthy šŸ„•

iā€™m the type of person who wants to dismantle the root cause immediately when i feel the slightest bit unhealthy. my view of a solution is targeting the cause to ensure it doesnā€™t happen again, rather than reaching for an intervention that numbs symptoms.

headache? well, iā€™m gonna sleep more or eat a hearty meal rather than popping an advil.

iā€™ve noticed that many of us are often very complacent about being unhealthy or with our bodies not being fully functional. itā€™s not normal to feel nauseous every day or spend every night battling a headache. šŸ«µ

we are meant to be energetic and pain-free. if thatā€™s not the case, thereā€™s something that neds to be fixed, not accepted.

health isnā€™t something you suddenly remember once it becomes debilitating. itā€™s important to keep wellness in mind at every point in your life ā€” itā€™s what keeps us going after all. complacency is the worst thing you can do when you donā€™t feel entirely healthy. being constantly fatigued is unhealthy. iron deficiency is unhealthy. having randomly sore muscles all the time is unhealthy.

if youā€™re not healthy, then youā€™re unhealthy. šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø that might seem like a silly thing to reiterate, but we often donā€™t call ourselves unhealthy until itā€™s actually detrimental. thatā€™s the consequence of complacency.
