onto today’s topic: cutie hangouts 🧺 

i love friendships where it feels so natural to go to a café, explore a new part of town, and buy art supplies to do a craft in the park. that’s what hangouts and catching up should be — not just a 1-2 hour talk over coffee.

i like creating memories and adding substance to my catchups, because friendships aren’t coffee chats. ☕️ 

i haven’t been on a cutie date with my best friends in so long, and i was sent down memory lane today when the 4 of us started excitedly planning our christmas hang out for when i would be back home. tiktoks of different craft ideas were immediately sent, gifts were discussed, and the group chat was alive as ever.

any hangout with them is my favourite kind, because we all just get it. i can’t quite put into words what exactly a cutie hangout is, but the closest i can get is creating, and enjoying the warmth of each others’ presence. it adds that these hangouts tend to always be hosted at one of our homes — this only makes all of it sweeter. it’s always a genuinely safe space where we can be ourselves and add to our trinket collections of memories.
