onto today’s topic: goodbye to the blog 📕 

today officially marks 8 months of me writing a blog post every single day. i started in august on a whim, and honestly i surprised myself with how committed i became to my promise of writing something every day.

i have you all to thank for being a forcing function of accountability and want to extend a special thank you to those of you that reply to my emails and brighten my day. ☀️ 

clicking “post” on here has been a constant in my life for the past 8 months, but my priorities have shifted and i believe now is a good time to close this chapter and focus on other kinds of content. i’ve grown even more addicted to taking photos and think leveraging my camera to it’s fullest capabilities is the next move for me.

a switch from written content to something more visual — perhaps i’ll combine the two at some point. for now, i want to focus in more on photography without divvying up my attention like i’ve fallen victim to doing so many times in the past.

i was flicking through all the posts i’m written since august and now realized there are so many that each one sparks a memory. i had forgotten that i wrote about so many of the different topics i skimmed through earlier today. hundreds of my thoughts have been conceptualized and preserved forever (well, at least as long as the internet exists). i think that’s pretty cool. 😁 

on that note, it’s time to move on to some other cool things. thank you for sticking around and joining me in this journey of immense growth.
