i keep a running list of ideas

your turn! šŸ’”

welcome to introspection ft. harsehaj! āļø i’m harsehaj, a 19 y/o always up to something in social good x tech.

this publication is a place for me to reflect on productivity, health and tech, and drop unique opportunities in the space right to your inbox daily. if you’re new here, sign up to tune in! šŸ’Œ

btw, feel free to reply with topic ideas you want me to write about for future posts.

onto today’s topic: i keep a running list of ideas šŸ’”

i love generating innovative ideas, building prototypes and putting together slide decks that create a story about a solution’s need and value-add, but this doesn’t fit strictly into one role (a founder comes pretty close though).

if i could describe what my ideal job description would be it would sound something like ā€œspinning out new ideas and designing roadmaps for executing them.ā€ šŸ›£ļø

i love coming up with new ideas. new topics to write about, app ideas, projects to work on, solutions to problems, outfit combinations, thought experiments, businesses, and the list goes on.

i enjoy the novelty of it and taking ownership over my brainchild. i often find myself spending hours reading about tech advancements and then just bouncing product ideas back and forth in my mind — it’s so fun. i literally do a mini case-study (problem research, opportunity analysis & impact metrics) for each idea that i write down, and it has been so helpful for my general product research skills and ability to suss out an audience’s need. šŸ‘€

not only that, documenting these ideas has made them feel more substantial, and this helps to serve as a great point of conversation with others. most people are excited by novelty and will jump at the chance to talk about an idea you’re playing around with.

innovation is exciting to me, which is why i keep a running list of my ideas. i don’t want to let any spark go, and so i keep them populated on a page in my notion workspace.

don’t let ideas be fleeting, take note of them! āœļø
