onto today’s topic: introducing limitless šŸŽ¤

funded by a16z and sam altman, limitless preserves human intelligence and augments it with ai through their wearable technology.

the thousands of ā€œai startupsā€ being spun out of the boom from llms are quickly becoming redundant, which is why limitless is a refreshing take on ai’s applications. limitless is a b2c startup founded by dan siroker and paul stamatiou that strives to augment (not replace) human intelligence. 🧠

i’m sure you’ve had moment where you were like, ā€œdamn, i wish that conversation was recorded. it’s not like i could have taken notes on it in real timeā€¦ā€ limitless’ wearable pendant does exactly that — it remembers what you say throughout the day, from in-person meetings and impromptu conversations to personal insights. not only that, it also summarizes them by taking notes entirely autonomously.

i wonder if that takes away from the ā€œhumannessā€ of human experience?

let’s talk numbers! šŸ¤“

bloomberg intelligence projects the total addressable market for generative ai to grow from $40 billion in 2022 to approximately $1.3 trillion by 2032. mckinsey & company’s projections are loftier, suggesting that generative ai could add between $2.6 trillion and $4.4 trillion annually to the global economy.

no quantitative information is currently available regarding limitless’ proven value-add.

questions i’d be interested to ask:

  • conversations involve other people, how do you plan to navigate the privacy concerns of recording another party’s dialogue?

  • what have been the main buckets of feedback you’ve received from early users?

  • do you have any data on how much time the pendant can save users in meeting preparation and follow-up tasks? what metrics are you using to gauge success?

that’s limitless!
