funded by a16z and sam altman, limitless preserves human intelligence and augments it with ai through their wearable technology.
the thousands of āai startupsā being spun out of the boom from llms are quickly becoming redundant, which is why limitless is a refreshing take on aiās applications. limitless is a b2c startup founded by dan siroker and paul stamatiou that strives to augment (not replace) human intelligence. š§
iām sure youāve had moment where you were like, ādamn, i wish that conversation was recorded. itās not like i could have taken notes on it in real timeā¦ā limitlessā wearable pendant does exactly that ā it remembers what you say throughout the day, from in-person meetings and impromptu conversations to personal insights. not only that, it also summarizes them by taking notes entirely autonomously.
i wonder if that takes away from the āhumannessā of human experience?
letās talk numbers! š¤
bloomberg intelligence projects the total addressable market for generative ai to grow from $40 billion in 2022 to approximately $1.3 trillion by 2032. mckinsey & companyās projections are loftier, suggesting that generative ai could add between $2.6 trillion and $4.4 trillion annually to the global economy.
no quantitative information is currently available regarding limitlessā proven value-add.
questions iād be interested to ask:
conversations involve other people, how do you plan to navigate the privacy concerns of recording another partyās dialogue?
what have been the main buckets of feedback youāve received from early users?
do you have any data on how much time the pendant can save users in meeting preparation and follow-up tasks? what metrics are you using to gauge success?
thatās limitless!
