listen to your body

being tired all the time your body's cry for help 🧍

onto today’s topic: listen to your body 🧍

i know firsthand how tempting it is to keep pushing yourself and striving relentlessly for progress, but our bodies don’t protest for no reason. when we’re sent signals in the form of fatigue, headaches and sore muscles, they aren’t just side effects of success to brush off.

it is a call to action that solutions must be implemented, alternative work methods should be explored, and healing is to be done. speed-running a fitness goal or school project isn’t sustainable. more effective, lasting results only come with healthy consistency. 🧘‍♂️

when your body is telling you something is wrong, listen to it. resolve your fatigue, but remember that sleep isn’t necessarily always the answer (i’m not telling you to just sleep all day every day if you’re fatigued…). being tired all the time isn’t just a sleep-deprivation problem, probe into how much water you’re drinking, vitamin intake, how often you touch grass … and fix it.

it’s not normal to be tired and in pain all the time — we shouldn’t be complacent with it. after all, we have no other body to live our lives through besides our own so we should take care of it.

you should know your body well. if not you, then who? your health is important. so eat that meal, drink another glass of water and go soak in the sun outside. 💓
