onto today’s topic: my most used app 🎵

music is wonderful. it’s perfect company to any event. a night drive? cleaning my room? grinding out some work? there’s a musical vibe for everything.

i love music so much that i’ve recently started collecting cds — shoutout to my friends for getting me a cd player. ❤️ of course, there’s (almost) always music playing from my phone, speaker or my headphones. i’d say there’s music playing a solid 90% of the time i’m awake. this … might be a problem, but it’s okay! it’s a joy i allow myself to indulge in.

you probably already guessed, but my most used app is easily spotify (sorry apple music fans .. it just doesn’t hit the same). i absolutely love discovering new music and jamming out to new sounds. i listen to all kinds of music, with a special love for rnb & kpop. recently, i’m really enjoying this, this and this. ;) 

music brings so many people together. it’s fun seeing eyes light up when a familiar justin bieber song starts playing or passionately serenading friends with some bruno mars. there are so many memories woven into different spotify playlists, liked songs, and glancing over to see what a friend is listening to. it also makes me feel pretty good when i’m nominated onto the aux. 😚

rather than instagram or candy crush, spotify wins the most used app award by a mile for me. there’s always something playing in the background, sparking random conversation and an infectious desire to sing along together.
