onto today’s topic: my mornings ☀️

crazy how taking time for yourself in the morning makes the day 10x better. i guess the self-help advice was right.

i know making the best out of my mornings always makes me feel amazing, but getting out of bed and convincing myself of that fact in the morning is always the hardest part.

i’m not talking about waking up at 5am and being traditionally productive. 📗 my best mornings start at 7/8am — i’ll hit the gym, eat a fulfilling breakfast and get ready for the day. i feel accomplished before my first class and that gives me a lot of satisfaction. not to mention, i feel extremely energized.

this might be an unpopular take, but going to the gym in the morning wakes me up more than it makes me tired. i was finally able to get back into my morning groove today after a week of classes, so let me walk you through it.

8-8:30: wake up & get dressed
8:30-9:30: leg day @ the gym (i also forgot my laptop last night at the library … so i retrieved that 😭)
9:30-10:30: shower, get ready & eat breakfast (greek yogurt bowl with pomegranate, peanut butter protein granola & hemp seeds)
10:30-11:30: write this blog post @ the library (:

and then, a coffee chat!

on days like this, i’m proud of myself for prioritizing my health and pushing for my own well-being. doing good for yourself feels good.
