fake it until you make it even 🧍‍♂️

onto today’s topic: present yourself with confidence 🧍‍♂️

confidence inherently establishes credibility, but be careful treading the line past egoistical.

even if you don’t feel 100% about a test, interview, pitch, or marathon, it doesn’t matter. present yourself like you’re at 110%. 📈

uncertainty and hesitance is more detrimental than you think. if you’re going to mess up or make a mistake, at least do it with your chest and with an open mind to learn. that leaves a significantly better impression than being wary and silent. mulling over skill gaps only serves to widen them further as you perpetually poke at holes within yourself and make them larger with each criticism. confidence fills in the gaps, whether that’s stepping out in an amazing outfit or speaking passionately to a crowd. draw from what you’re confident about and put it on blast. 📢

speak loudly, take up space, advocate for your ideas, and remind yourself that you’re doing just fine. not knowing something or being the best isn’t something to be insecure about at all. be confident in communicating that as well as your willingness to grow.

chances are 9 out of 10 recruiters, friends, and colleagues, will choose someone that is confidently self aware rather than someone that is unsure and indecisive. 😵‍💫

exuding confidence is harder than it sounds though. my advice? fake it until you make it, and you’ll find yourself become more naturally inclined to trust in yourself.
