onto today’s topic: i don’t like rainy days 🌧️
in all honesty, i hate rainy days.
today is a rainy day. it’s a liiiittle miserable being cooped up inside.
i’m a sunlight and being outside girly through and through. i also have wavy hair, and the rain is not compatible with it. the feeling of my clothing being wet isn’t something i can get behind.
rainy weather is ranked pretty low in my personal tier list, but it feels like a nice reset every once in a while.
this summer, my family and i went on a long awaited trip to europe, and funnily enough, my favourite memory was arriving to luzern with the pouring rain. the heat in rome and italy exhausted me to the core, and i was sick of sweating. ☀️
luzern instantly cooled me down, and it felt like my fatigue washed away with the rain. it rained pretty much the whole time we were in luzern, and i didn’t hate it at all. my mind got a much-needed reset with the rain, and my hair was an afterthought.
it’s probably so freeing to just sit there in the rain without any thoughts. i wouldn’t know, i haven’t tried it. yet.
generally, i don’t like rainy days at all, but i have to admit that they are a good refresh once in a while. i could not stand living somewhere where it rained every other day though. 🫣
i’ve been in the bay for around 2 months, and it has only rained like 1.5 times. i love it that way.
do you like rainy days?
