onto today’s topic: the blessing of being busy 🏔️

i thought this was a bar, “why complain about having a lot on your plate when your goal is to eat?”

of course, you can be overwhelmed and upset that you have no free time, but even keeping busy with hobbies in that free time makes life all the more fruitful. it’s such a wonderful thing to have so much to do and occupy our time — isn’t it great that you can collapse into bed at the end of the day knowing you’ve gotten one day closer to achieving your dreams? that you can wake up the next day and keep racing forward?

don’t get me wrong, i’m very wary of hustle culture, but this isn’t me convincing you to be busy all the time or glorifying being a workaholic. 🤨 this is me sharing the perspective that when you are busy, it’s something you can be grateful for and see in a positive light.

why be idle when you can experience, learn, grow, and fill your life with memories that you’ll cherish forever?

i like being busy, even if it sometimes feels overwhelming and i just want to lay in my bed doing absolutely nothing for a day. that’s totally fine, and normal. we all need days to rot. 😴

still, it’s quite a blessing in disguise to be so filled with vigour and big aspirations fueled by motivation, thus leading you to be busy. be proud of your busy life!
