what have you set out to achieve?
are you 1/12th of the way there? 🥇

onto today’s topic: what have you set out to achieve? 🥇
it’s very easy to get wrapped up in other people’s goals and expectations. i ask, and remind, myself this often: what have you set out to achieve?
and then, how does each day marginally contribute to that success?
if you have big ambitions, achieving them certainly won’t come overnight — probably not even over the course of a year. however, making an effort towards some sort of progress every single day will help root you to your own goals. most importantly, reflect on what that incremental progress was at the end of each day. 💭
i’m sure many of us, myself included, wrote out 2025 resolutions. nearly 1/12th of the year has passed already — are you 1/12th of the way to achieving each of those goals?
answer that question for yourself, and if you feel disappointed, act on it. it doesn’t make sense to wait until december 31st, 2025 to realize that none of our goals were achieved. take this as a sign to adjust your goals with a lens of clarity, deprioritize some of the things in your life and prioritize others, and reflect on what success looks like for you. 🫵
we don’t have to wait for a new year to reset or change ourselves. we can change the course of our entire lives at any given moment in time, and that’s something to take advantage of.
