why i don’t ai generate these posts

i'd be a LIAR. 🤖

welcome to introspection ft. harsehaj! ⭐️ i’m harsehaj, an 18 y/o always up to something in social good x tech.

this publication is a place for me to reflect on productivity, health and tech, and drop unique opportunities in the space right to your inbox daily. if you’re new here, sign up to tune in! 💌

btw, feel free to reply with topic ideas you want me to write about for future posts.

onto today’s topic: why i don’t ai generate these posts 🤖

um, hello? 🤨

ai generating these posts would defeat the whole purpose of why i started this daily blog. i would be cheating and lying to myself.

yes, on some days writing feels like a chore, but i made this commitment to myself and to all of you as we embark on the 5th month of this publication’s existence (wow, it does not feel like that long).

writing has been a game changer in grounding me to each day and articulating conversation so much better. 🗣️ mentally i’ll think, “omg, i just wrote a post about this a few days ago” when an overlapping topic is brought up in conversation and that already gives me a foundation for what to say.

i have definitely grown to love writing more. no it’s not poetry. hell, it isn’t even creative or academic writing. but they are my real thoughts dumped in my most candid tone, and that’s exactly what my goal is. we all have so many thoughts daily, what’s the harm in giving them more substance and sharing them with others?

so no, i won’t ai generate my thoughts. at this point 4ish months in, that’d feel like wiping a part of my identity. 🧘‍♀️ ai content generation is great for other things though — i’m an active gpt4 user don’t get me wrong.

this little publication is very human, and i’d like to keep it that way. :)
