onto today’s topic: practicing good habits 🚿 

a happy life is built brick-by-brick by happy days.

happy days are built up by good habits.

a switch won’t turn suddenly one day for when your perfect life begins. once you radiate life from your skin as a result of taking care of your body, mind and soul, you’ll realize you were living that good life all along. it starts now — from the moment you wake up tomorrow morning. ☀️ 

this post on my “75 kinda-hard” is pretty representative of the habits i continue to practice + a few more additions. i also make sure to call my family every day, hit the gym every weekday morning, and do skincare.

habits will feel like an annoyance for the first few weeks. eventually, they’ll bring you comfort and pump contentment into the back of your mind. 🧘‍♀️ 

it’s such a common piece of advice, but you truly will only ever understand the benefit if you experience it yourself. see what sticks, what fuels your energy, and what you know will be good for you. force yourself to be good to you, and it will not longer be forceful.

practicing good habits makes you more in tune with yourself.
