onto today’s topic: wordware 💬

3 years ago, everyone was preaching that you need to learn how to code.

now, you don’t really need to know how to code at all in order to build in tech. you do, however, need some sort of background knowledge of what exactly you’re looking to develop. that’s relatively easy to figure out though.

wordware makes development even easier with its no-code ai platform. essentially, it’s a primarily b2b (with some b2c subscriptions) ai development platform that allows users to build ai agents using natural language instead of traditional coding. it provides a no-code interface with tools for designing ai workflows, incorporating features like branching logic, multimodal inputs (text, images, audio, video), and integrations for tasks such as search, speech synthesis, and web scraping.

let’s talk numbers! 🤓

the no-code ai platform market (extremely specific, i know), which wordware operates in, was valued at $4.9 billion in 2024 and is expected to grow at a cagr of 38.2% from 2024 to 2029 (source).

with 286,000+ users, including notable companies like instacart and runway, wordware hit $3.3 million in revenue with a 22 person team in 2024 (source). they also secured a $30 million seed funding round in november 2024, led by spark capital (source).

questions i’d be interested to ask:

  • what is the receptiveness from software engineers to wordware when implemented in enterprises?

  • what was your biggest challenge when it came to development after taking off on product hunt?
