happy 1 month!
now, onto month #2. 🎈
welcome to introspection ft. harsehaj! ⭐️ i’m harsehaj, an 18 y/o always up to something in social good x tech.
this publication is a place for me to reflect on productivity, health and tech, and drop unique opportunities in the space right to your inbox daily. if you’re new here, sign up to tune in! 💌
btw, feel free to reply with topic ideas you want me to write about for future posts.
onto today’s topic: happy 1 month! 🎈
i’m pretty surprised at how much i’ve enjoyed writing about a new topics every day for the past month. i started with gratitude and went on tangents ranging from the barbie movie to my hot takes on breakfast, and then criticizing education systems.
it’s pretty representative of what goes on in my brain, and i’m glad i have now developed the habit of publishing them. i’ve found that it’s a great way for me to make my ideas and abstract thoughts more concrete.
there have been so many instances this month where i’m having a conversation and i’ll think to myself, “i just wrote a post about this.” this in turn helps me actually add substance to what i’m saying, because i already mapped out that thought process. 💭
these posts have also been helpful for sharing additional context to passing comments. i’ll give a brief summary about an idea or thought, and share the post link if someone’s interested in learning more. my thoughts have more credibility when they’re published, funnily enough.
i’m also exercising the skill of deciphering what people want to read, and what kind of emails you guys want to click on. i unintentionally picked up a knack for data analysis. 🧮
most importantly, it’s fun. it’s such an amazing feeling when i see replies in my inbox, or when people tell me that they look forward to seeing introspection ft. harsehaj pop up in their notifications. i enjoy writing, because i haven’t given myself any restrictions. i don’t write solely about getting internships or trying to be some sort of productivity guru.
i ask for help, share my struggles, nerd out about music, and write about virtually anything that comes to my mind. most social media platforms have a certain theme to follow. i’d like to think that i’ve made my own platform here, and there isn’t really a theme to it.
i like it that way.
my first post on august 1st reached 40 inboxes (thank you to all of you still reading), and this one on september 1st will reach 240. i’m excited for the growth to come and for more people to get value from my brain dumps and opportunity drops.
i wonder how many will be tuned in on october 1st. ❤️
